Coach Zhiyang Wang holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University and a B.S. from Indiana University, but his passion for table tennis runs just as deep. He trained for 4 years in Henan, China, and was a key member of Purdue’s table tennis team.

With 3 appearances at the NCTTA national championships and a 3rd place finish in the Upper Midwest Division men’s singles, Coach Wang brings both competitive experience and a love for teaching. He’s dedicated to helping students improve through structured training and personal attention, making learning both effective and enjoyable.
